TIME:

6:30-7:25 AM Warm up; 7:30 AM  Start Time

 

At the conclusion of the session we will offer time-trials( as time permits).

FACILITIES:

Sterling YMCA, Beverly, MA. 6 lane, 50 meter pool, non-turbulent

 

lane lines, Colorado Timing System, spectator area on 2nd floor of

 

YMCA- seating for 500. 2- 22yd. Warm-up/ Warm-down lanes

CONTESTANTS:

Each swimmer may participate in a maximum of four (4) individual events

 

We reserve the right to limit the number of swims based on the time-line

SCRATCHES:

Scratches MUST BE SUBMITTED no later than½ hour before the

 

beginning of each session. ANY SWIMMER WHO IS NOT FORMALLY

 

SCRATCHED FROM AN EVENT OR DOES NOT REPORT TO THE

 

BLOCKS FOR HIS/HER EVENT WILL BE SCRATCHED FROM THE

 

ENTIRE MEET.

Scoring:

This meet will not be scored for team or individual high point awards

AWARDS:

Individual: Ribbons for 1st-3rd

OFFICALS:

Each team should attempt to provide one or more official for each session.

Entry instructions:

You may enter any number of swimmers per individual events.

MEET ENTRY SHEETS:

All seed times should be entered in METERS TIMES. Coaches’ times are acceptable. No Times will not be permitted.

 

ALL EVENTS WILL BE PRE-SEEDED AND SEEDING WILL

 

BE PUBLISHED IN THE PROGRAM. It is the responsibility of each

 

competitor to report to and be in his/her lane at the time the heat is called.

RULES:

2005 NCAA rules will govern all competition and decisions by the

 

Meet Referee will be final, unless a written protest is submitted

 

within 30 minutes of the swim heat being protested.

SPECIAL

There will be ABSOLUTELY "NO DIVING" in any part of the pool

INSTRUCTIONS:

during warm-ups, except in specially designated sprint lanes.

COACHES:

Xerox a copy of your sheets and mail the original.

 

ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY Friday, July 7

 

Entries received after JULY 7 are not guaranteed to

 

be entered. Meet will be limited to a 5 hour session.

 

Teams will be entered into the meet on a "first- come, first served" basis.

 

Teams may be cut due to 5 hour rule.

Entry Fees:

Entries will be $4.00 individual - $10.00 for Relays (teams should use Hy-tek)

Concessions:

A concession stand will be open throughout each

 

session. A large variety of beverages and food will

 

be available to swimmers and spectators.

100's & 200's will be offered first.
