SITE: Andover-North Andover YMCA

FACILITY: 25-yard, 6-lane course with non-turbulent lane lines. Electronic, 6-lane
Colorado touch pad timing system with 6-line scoreboard will be used.
Spectator seating with adjacent gymnasium for swimmers and bullpen.

ENTRIES: Swimmers may enter all events offered in their age group. Age groups
will be determined by the swimmer’s age as of November 1, 2004. All
entries must be postmarked by Friday, October 22, 2004.
If necessary, teams will be cut based on date of receipt of entry. Please

ENTRY FEES: $3:00 per individual event for electronic entries. $3.50 per entry for
entries that must be entered by hand. Please make checks payable to
“Andover-North Andover YMCA Swim Team.”
Please make out ONE team check.
ENTRY NOTES: Users of Hy-Tek’s Swim Software are encouraged to submit their
entries on a 3 ½” HD diskette along with a hard-copy printout.

Please check that your team name, address and contact information are
listed correctly in this file.
Non-electronic entries should be submitted on the standard New England
entry form provided. Please use a separate page for each age group. Seed
cards are not required. Entry fees must accompany team meet entry, and
there will be no refunds, except for those entries received after the meet
is full. No telephone entries will be accepted.
FORMAT: All events are timed finals. Coaches must turn in their scratch sheets to
the Clerk of the Course one-half hour before the start of each session.
AWARDS: Medals will be awarded for the first three places in each age group;
ribbons for place four through twelve.
WARM-UPS: Lane assignments and warm-up times will be posted prior to the first
warm-up session. There will be one-way sprints at the conclusion of each
warm-up session. All swimmers must be under the direct supervision of
their swim coach to enter the pool. No diving/racing starts are permitted
during the warm-ups, except in the announced one-way sprints at the end
of each warm-up session.
BULLPEN: Each team is required to have a coach or parent supervising swimmers in
this area. Teams are asked to clean up their areas at the conclusion of
each session. NO FOOD OR DRINK (OTHER THAN WATER) WILL
BE ALLOWED IN THE GYMNASIUM.
RULES: 2004 U.S. Swimming rules will govern all competition, and decisions by
the meet referee will be final.
CONCESSION: The ANA Hurricanes will operate a full food concession at all meet
sessions. Swim supplies will also be available through Varsity Swim
Shop. Refreshment passes will be issued to all coaches.
ADMISSION: No admission fee will be charged. Programs are $5 per day.

DIRECTIONS: Route 93 North to Route 133 East, heading toward Andover. Proceed
straight through 4 sets of lights. After the 4th light, the Andover/North
Andover YMCA will be on your right. If you get to the Burger King,
you’ve gone too far.
