Hurricane Records

Only the 2nd day and already 4
Team Records have been broken. Paul Hunter re-set his own
record in the 100 Backstroke (0:51.59); and Ryan Fortin broke his
own record in the 200 Breaststroke with a 2:08.6.
The relay teams set new team
records in both the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle.
Making finals is no easy feat at
this meet. With over 1500 swimmers only the top 24 will make
finals. Tonight all 4 boys on the team will be competing in
finals! This is a first for the Hurricanes at Spring
Nationals!
Fortin will compete in the 200
Breaststroke in Finals (top 24) and Paul Hunter and Matt Nutter
will compete in the 200 Freestyle tonight. The boys will team
with John Belanger in the finals of the 400 Freestyle relay,
placing 15th out of the morning heats.
Finals begin at 5:30 pm
tonight.
