Dan Reilly

Dan Reilly joined the team as Head Coach in
September 2006.
Dan is a Level 4 American Swimming Coaches
Association (ASCA)-certified coach. Dan also has worked as the head
coach at the Mill Pond Branch at the South Shore YMCA, Weymouth
High School, North Quincy High School and Archbishop Williams. He
was head coach of the Southeast/Coastal Team, which came in second
at the 2006 Bay State Games. He is certified as an American Red
Cross Water Safety Instructor, American Red Cross Lifeguard
Training and First Aid and American Red Cross CPR.
A Massachusetts-certified general science teacher
for grades 6-12, Dan earned his B.S. degree in human physiology in
1996 from Boston University, where he also was an instructor in the
Department of Physical Education. He has taught high school
physical science in the Hanover Public Schools and high school
biology in the West Bridgewater Public Schools.
Carlton Cronin
Head Senior Coach

Carlton has had a long and illustrious career as
a coach in the Merrimack Valley. He coached at the Haverhill YMCA
before founding the Haverhill Youth Swim Team and the New England
Barracudas. His swimmers hold New England YMCA and USA records in
many age groups and many have gone on to swim at division 1
Colleges and Universities. Carlton is a long time member of the
Merrimack Valley YMCA and he is a great addition to the team. This
season Carlton will be the Head coach of the Senior group.
Erin Cammann
Head Age Group Coach
Email
Erin joined the team in 2001 and is currently the
Head Coach of our Monsoon Group. Erin has two children who swim for
the team as well. Erin also swims for the Andover/North Andover
Masters Swim Team.
Prior to joining the Hurricanes, Erin was the
Masters Swim Coach at the SoCal Aquatic Club in Los Angeles,
California from 1999-2001. She was also an Age Group Coach from
1996-1999 with Team Santa Monica in Santa Monica, California
Erin has a Masters in Journalism from
Northwestern University, and a B.A. in History from Yale University
where she was a member of the varsity swim and volleyball
teams.
Robert Moore
Junior and Silver Coach

Bob has been a coach with the
Hurricanes since 2006 and currently works with the Junior
and Silver groups. He has 12+ years experience as a high
school coach with the Lowell Boys and Girls Club and Lowell
YMCA.
Bob is a level 2 coach with the American Swimming
Coaches Association and is also an American Red Cross instructor in
Health and Safety courses.

Jenelle Kasper
Senior and Gold Coach
Email
Jenelle graduated from Queen's University
in Kingston, Ontario with an Honors Bachelor of Science in
Biology. In her senior year she was co-captain of her swim
team. She will be attending the University of Toronto in
the Fall to complete the Master's of Management of Innovation
program.
Jenelle began swimming
competitively at the age of 9 for the Newmarket Stingrays
and swam with the Hurricanes for 1
year. Jenelle graduated from North Andover High School
where she was a standout on both the Swimming and Track
teams.
Kerry Jeanne Gaj
Tidal Wave and Typhoon Coach

Kerry is going into her Senior year in the Nursing program at
the University of Miami. Kerry graduated from Andover High
School in 2007 where she was an integral part of the State Champion
Swim teams. Kerry was a Hurricane from the time she was 9
years old and was one of an outstanding graduating class in 2007
who were with the team for 9 years or more.
This is Kerry's first summer with the team and is currently
coaching the Tidal Wave and Typhoon swimmers.
Erin Shanahan
Head Juniors Coach

Erin is a Theology teacher at Austin Prep.
H.S. in Reading and Lieutenant of Lifeguards at Hampton Beach
during the summer. Erin swam at Haverhill High School and earned
her B.A. at the College of the Holy Cross where she also swam and
captained the team in 2000-2001.
Erin has coached high school teams at Salem,
NH and Methuen, MA; she also coached with New Wave Swim Club and
currently coaches at Austin Prep.
Erin is a level 1 coach with the American
Swimming Coaches Association.
Erin is the Head Coach of the Junior
group.

Tami Fraser
Tidal Wave and Typhoon Coach
Email
Tami Fraser joined the team
in 2006 as an assistant coach. She works with the Tidal Wave and
Typhoon swimmers focusing on stroke development. She has four
children who swim for the Hurricanes as well.
Prior to joining the Hurricanes, Tami worked at
the Tuckahoe YMCA in Richmond, VA and was an aquatics director and
the Keene Family YMCA in Keene, NH. She has also worked as a
waterfront director, boating, and swimming instructor at resident
and day camps in MA, NH, and VT. In addition to working with our
swimmers, Tami is a substitute teacher in the Tyngsborough schools.
She is certified as a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and
Lifeguard Instructor as well as First Aid and CPR. Tami is a level
1 ASCA coach.
